Irene Shamas is an actress, writer, and theater artist from rural Vermont. She began training at a young age and went on to receive a BA in Theatre Studies from Bard College at Simon's Rock. Additionally she has studied at Shakespeare & Company, The Prague Film School, and is an alumna of NTI. She has appeared in The Politician (Netflix), Northern Borders (dir. Jay Craven), and is currently developing a pilot set in rural New England about a food co-op. She lives in Brooklyn with her eight pound chihuahua Louanne.
